Cancel Roblox Premium renewal: find the billing provider and verify the result
Separate Roblox, Apple and Google Play billing. Check the correct account, the expiry date and a missing cancellation button without confusing renewal cancellation with a refund.
Identify the subscription before changing it #
Start with the exact product shown on your receipt. Roblox Premium, another Roblox membership and a subscription inside one experience are not interchangeable names. This guide concerns an existing Premium membership. Roblox's current Premium help says new purchases stopped on April 30, 2026; existing subscriptions may continue, but a canceled membership cannot be subscribed to again. Read that consequence before deciding to cancel, rather than treating the control as a temporary pause you can necessarily reverse tomorrow.
Write down your intended result: stop the next renewal, investigate a charge or locate benefits from an existing payment. Those are separate tasks. A useful example is “Keep access through the paid period, prevent another renewal.” That does not describe a refund request. We do not operate your payment account or cancel anything for you. Read the final confirmation yourself, especially if a parent or another household member owns the account that originally paid.
Find who actually bills the membership #
Use the receipt to identify the billing provider and the account that made the purchase. The device you play on today does not determine who manages an old subscription. A person can play on a computer while an earlier purchase remains managed by Apple or Google Play. Conversely, opening an app-store subscriptions screen will not necessarily reveal a subscription bought directly through Roblox. Search the original receipt before concluding that a missing entry proves cancellation.
Build a small private record: product, Roblox username, billing provider, next displayed renewal or expiration date, and current subscription state. Do not publish card numbers, full receipts or account credentials. If a family member's store account paid, ask that person to check their own subscriptions. Avoid logging them out or trying unrelated accounts at random. The diagrams below are original route maps, not screenshots of your billing account and not evidence that a subscription has already changed.
For a direct Roblox subscription #
For a membership managed through Roblox's desktop or browser route, sign into the account that owns it. Open Settings and Subscriptions, locate Premium, then inspect the available renewal control. The official help names Cancel Renewal. Follow its confirmation flow only if stopping renewal is your intended choice. Looking at the subscription is not the same action as confirming cancellation; keep the outcome clear while moving between the overview, membership details and final confirmation.
After the action, return to the subscription details and record the displayed status and date. Roblox explains that canceled Premium benefits continue for the paid remainder, so a remaining benefit alone does not prove cancellation failed. Likewise, closing a confirmation dialog or leaving the settings screen does not prove it succeeded. If the route still shows another renewal, preserve the observation and consult the matching official help instead of repeatedly submitting the same action without checking its result.
For Apple or Google Play billing #
If Apple manages the purchase, use the purchasing Apple Account. On iPhone or iPad, open device Settings, your name, Subscriptions and the relevant membership. Review the cancellation option and confirm only the intended subscription. Apple's help explains how to find the purchasing account on the receipt if the entry is missing. A different Roblox login does not automatically change which Apple Account owns the store purchase, and another family member's subscription must be handled by that person.
If Google Play manages it, open subscriptions in Google Play under the purchasing Google Account. Select the relevant subscription, choose its cancellation option and follow the displayed instructions. Google's help explicitly distinguishes uninstalling an app from canceling its subscription. Afterwards, inspect the store's resulting subscription state. Use the provider matching your receipt rather than running both cancellation routes “just in case”; that can make unrelated family subscriptions harder to identify and adds no proof about the target membership.
If the cancellation button is missing #
A missing control needs a reason, not a guessed repair. Roblox lists several possibilities: cancellation already recorded, expiration of a nonrecurring membership, renewal currently processing or a mobile purchase managed by its store. The source specifically identifies Windows and Amazon app-store Premium purchases as nonrecurring. Match these categories to your actual receipt and state. Do not infer the payment channel solely from the operating system of the device currently running the game.
For example, “No Premium listed in Roblox cancellation controls; receipt identifies Apple” points to checking the purchasing Apple Account. “Membership shows an expiry date and no renewal” is a different observation. The table below separates the cases so you can record the next check without deleting the application or account. If you cannot access the owning Roblox account, the Premium help directs you to support before renewal; do not assume waiting for password recovery automatically pauses billing.
Separate verification, renewal and refunds #
Keep a private confirmation showing the product, provider, resulting state and date, with sensitive details protected. Read whether the provider describes expiration or another renewal; an old bank charge is not a current subscription-state indicator. The goal is an observable change to the intended membership, not merely the disappearance of a button. After checking, you can continue using the paid remainder where the membership terms permit, without treating continued access as authorization for a new purchase.
Cancellation prevents future renewal according to the applicable flow; it is not a promise that earlier payments will be refunded. For a disputed charge or a requested refund, follow the actual billing provider's separate support process and applicable terms. Report the problem with date, product and a concise description, without sending passwords or public payment details. These are instructional examples, not financial transactions we performed, and the official provider's current confirmation remains the authority for your own subscription state.
